Winkhaus SCOBRA Latch, Hookbolt & 2 Hooks Multipoint Door Lock

This is a unique Winkhaus lock. It is Cobra lock but with a modified gearbox, which features a hook, rather than a deadbolt. It’s not a Scorpion lock, but a one off lock called the “SCOBRA”. The SCOBRA multipoint door lock features 2 hooks and a 20mm radius faceplate.

The lock is only 1562mm long and is predominantly fitted to timber and composite doors.

Meets the requirements and is approved by the police Secured by Design security initiative. These locks feature a 25mm throw tensile “Cobra” steel hook. The tapered design of the hook has the effect of helping the door achieve a higher level of weather performance.

Operation: Lift lever or split spindle nightlatch.

Latch Reversal: Push in the latch and a screw will appear in the back of the lockcase. Undo the screw to remove the latch. Reverse, reinsert and replace screw.

Nightlatch Reversal: The small rectangular slot adjacent to the side of the spindle hole contains a black roll pin. Insert a flat-bladed screwdriver and roll the pin to the opposite side to reverse the function.
